Santa Baby
This shoot was a little bitter sweet for me. Bitter because I used to babysit this little one's mama and now she's grown up with a baby of her own. I guess I should mention that I started babysitting when I was 6, so I'm not that old. It's sweet because this little one is absolutely precious and I know that she has a wonderful mama and daddy that love her so much. Here's a small sample of what we captured while she was here...

Forget bribing, have whoopee cushion, will smile.
I've known this family forever and when Rebekah contacted me about taking some pics of her babies, I was happy to do it. She had the foresight to bring just the right thing to make her boys fall apart smiling and laughing...a whoopee cushion. They loved it and thought it was hysterical. Here's her youngest, trying it out.

We were able to get some great shots of them without it as well. I will definitely have to put "whoopee cushion" on my list of things to get little one's attention...well, at least young boys who think that bodily functions are completely hysterical. Thanks for bringing them over Rebekah.

How cute is she?

Awaiting Baby Girl
I've known this mama-to-be for a long time. So, I was tickled pink, no pun intended, when she called and wanted to do some maternity pics. The little life inside her is no doubt a miracle. The answer to many heartfelt, longing prayers I'm sure. I can't wait to meet their new little one. Here's a quick sneak peek.

Pretty in Polka Dots
Meet Miss S. She just celebrated her 3rd birthday. It was pink, her favorite color and involved a lot of polka dots from what I gathered. Here's a quick sneak peek from her session. Doesn't she have the sweetest face? I love the second one too because when I would tell her to look at me and smile pretty, that is the face she'd make. How cute is it?!?

P.S. I should also mention that she may have a future as a beautician...the girl loves make up and even cut her own hair last week...hence the short bangs. Again, how cute.

"Oh My Soul!"
That's a phrase coined by this little girl's mama. Well maybe she didn't coin it but she should have and those 3 words certainly describe this little one. Not so little anymore though. When I first began blogging about my photography endeavors, her one year birthday pics were the very first pictures that I posted. Now here we are, just a few days shy of a year later and I can't believe how much she's grown. She's just adorable as can be and can be bribed with Tic-Tacs. Here's a couple from our time together and if you have a second look back at her ones from last year.

She's on the move!
Miss A came over for her 7 month pictures and boy is she fast. A little bribe here and there kept her put for a second or two while I snapped a few shots. Her big brother came too and a good attempt was made to get a pic of the two of them together. Short of tying them down, it was nearly impossible. Here's a quick peek. Thanks guys for coming over!!

Mission: Destroy Cake

Mr. E came over today for his one year birthday photos. The mission: Get cake and destroy it. He can mark this job "mission accomplished." He had more fun playing in the cake, than eating it. Before we got all messy, we did manage to rope him in for some more serious shots. Mom, here's a quick sneak peek. Hope you enjoy and if so, then my mission's accomplished.

A Whole Lotta Hines

So I did my biggest shoot yet...19 total in the group shot. Needless to say I've got quite a few pictures to go through and edit. I grew up with this family and because I don't see them all together that often, I am reminded of how time flies when I do see them. If you want to laugh like you've never laughed, you need to be there when all of the Hines get together. It's what family's all about. Here's a quick one of the original Hines crew.

My Guys

This is my little guy. He's just over 6 months old and is the happiest baby I've ever known. I'm not sure that it's possible but it seems that time is going so much faster with baby #2. I see him in his daddy's arms and the bond these two share is nothing short of amazing. Here's one from the other day in his shoes from his Uncle Marcus and Aunt Jenn.

My Little Red

As I sit here to post this entry, my mind flashes back 4 years when Molly was just a chunk of chubby baby. I marvel how fast time flies and while I wish it would slow down, I can't wait to see what the future holds for her. I see in her promise and potential that I pray I can cultivate and nurture. In several weeks, I will drop her off for her first day of school and it brings tears to my eyes even now. I love everything about her and thank my heavenly Father for blessing my life with her. Enough sappy stuff. Here's my little girl.

How could I forget these guys?

Almost forgot to post some of the new man in my life and his big sister. Luke Thomas was born 01/15/09 and is the sweetest little guy you could meet. Molly LOVES to help out and entertain and you can see the love that only siblings share between them. They are truly my heart and my special blessings lent to me from God.
So I am more than a little behind...

I was asked today what my blogsite was and I unfortunately had to admit to her that this blog has been severely neglected. So my excuses are...the holidays, then the birth of my son, the adjustment to two little ones and of course the list could go on for a while. Anyway, I have been blessed enough have photographed for my friends over the last couple of months and I hope that this year brings many more opportunities to increase my knowledge of photography and all that entails as well provide families with photographs that they will be proud to display. So without further ado, here are some "sneak peeks."
